Welcome to Weekend Grills. A place for local food heroes to connect and sell their products online. Our platform allows you to list your products online, sell and manage your orders through our platform.

Once activated you are able to immediately accept online payments, schedule pickups or delivery and manage your orders via our platform.

Our platform is open to small fully Halaal food vendors.

As with every platform, there are a few prerequisites to start trading to ensure that we provide our customers with quality products from reputable Vendors.

How it Works

We provide a storefront for vendors selling products. Vendors are given a login to add products and view their customer orders via a dashboard that is only visible to them. Reporting is also available. Vendors can specify their trading times.

Customers are able to see all the different local food vendors in one place and checkout online. They can schedule then schedule pickups based on the Vendors trading times.

To ensure we have a fair platform, each vendor is allowed to only add a maximum of 15 products. Should you require more please contact us.

What We Require from Vendors

Vendors are required to manage their store, update their products and ensure orders are fulfilled.

Primary marketing should still come from the Vendor.

What We Charge

Our platform has been carefully developed with both vendors and customers in mind and is constantly being improved. Please let us know if you have any suggestions.

Our fees are broken down as follows:

Monthly Fee – R99 Per Month – Cancel Anytime 

– Gives you access to our Vendor platform that allows you to display your products, receive orders and manage them via the platform.

Transaction Fee – Covers card payment processing and settlement of your payments – 10% per transaction

– This means if you sell a product for R100, you will receive R90. The R10 goes towards card settlement fees and the balance is used by the Weekend Grills team to improve the platform. Vendors make up this amount by slightly increasing their product prices.

How We Pay You

We understand cash flow is critical in any business and would like to ensure that you always have enough. Our low transaction fees is one way try to achieve this. We process payments to Vendors every Monday from an FNB account.

Next Steps

  • Fill out the registration form
  • We confirm that you are eligible to join
  • Pay the first month’s fee (Official trading starts 1 February 2021 but you are welcome to start earlier)
  • We approve your application and send you your login details so that you can start adding your products
  • Start earning, each time an order comes in you will get a notification via email with the details and this is also viewable on your sales dashboard
